FORKLIFT TRAINING

Industrial Training Services Ltd (ITS) has over twenty R.T.I.T.B. accredited instructors strategically located throughout the region to carry out forklift truck training on customer premises for novice, semi-experienced & previously certificated operators.

Forklift training Course durations vary from 1 to 5 days dependant upon experience.

For clients who prefer off-site training, to avoid trucks & warehouse/yard space being tied up, we can offer an R.T.I.T.B. approved forklift training centre at Chelmsford, in Essex.

Training for forklift trucks can be carried out on-site throughout the South, Southeast, london and the east of england

At this centre we also conduct forklift instructor training courses to enable existing qualified forklift operators to instruct other employees. Furthermore, many of our instructors are qualified to carry out training & assessment to NVQ level 2.

It is a legal requirement under Health and Safety legislation that forklift truck operators are adequately trained. Every year there are thousands of accidents and numerous fatalities involving forklift trucks and the HSE have identified inadequate training as the major factor.
